Good Night, Showtime

Coal wakes up in the middle of the night. His dry throat calls for a nice glass of water. After shaking the crumbling stone from his fur, he opens his bedroom door. He realizes the lights downstairs in the studio room were on. "She's still up? That pony works herself way too much..." he yawns and walks downstairs.

The studio room's door was slightly open. Coal gently pushes the door aside as he enters. "Showtime, you've been up late and working every night. I think you really need to sleep more-" He pauses noticing that Showtime was silent and not writing or drawing anything. Coal sighs and smiles. Showtime was asleep.

Coal stands besides the sleeping alicorn and exams the papers spread out all over the desk. A mug and a coffee pot sat beside her head. "Wow she drank a whole pot of coffee?" he chuckles "You know Showtime, I would've made you more...but then again coffee never helps you stay awake."

Showtime let out a little snore. She was defiantly asleep. Afraid to wake the peaceful pony, Coal goes upstairs and fetches a blanket. He places the soft, cloud like blanket around her. "Get some rest, okay? There are many ponies waiting to see what art you have next, but for now sleep and dream." He turns off the studio room's lights. "Good night, Showtime."

This is something I drew in the car. I've been up working late almost every night. :3 so i thought it's be cute to draw Showtime, me, and Coal, my number one assistant.
